How we store your personal information, and for how long
Medical and emergency contact information
At the beginning of any training, you will be asked to complete a paper form providing relevant medical and emergency contact information. This will be kept by your instructor for the duration of your training. On completion of your training, this form will be returned to you or securely destroyed. No record of this information will be retained after completion of your training.
Information our website automatically collects about you
Our website automatically collects information about you and stores this information in cookies on your computer. The maximum period this is stored for will depend on your consent via our website’s Cookie Consent functionality (1 month, 6 months, or 12 months). Cookies used to provide website functionality are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed (often when you close your web browser).
All other information
All other personal information will be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. All computers on which personal information are stored are password protected.
We use third-party providers to for certain services:
- Our website is hosted by JustHostMe Limited on servers located in the UK. When you interact with our website, personal information may be recorded on these servers and is subject to the JustHostMe Privacy Policy: https://www.justhostme.co.uk/legal/privacy-policy/.
- Our email service provider is Google LLC and any email communication you have with us will be processed by them in accordance with their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy/.
- We use online form services provided by Jotform to collect information from prospective customers, which will be processed by them in accordance with their Privacy Policy: https://www.jotform.com/privacy/. All form data are encrypted with RSA 2048 in the user’s browser before being transmitted and stored, which means that Jotform do not have access to the contents of the form. In addition, we have a legally binding agreement in place with Jotform Ltd guaranteeing that their processing of our customers’ data is compliant with GDPR legislation.
- We use Google Drive to store documents and data. This service is provided by Google LLC and all data will be processed by them in accordance with their Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy/. Prior to storage on Google Drive, files and filenames are encrypted with AES and 256 bit key length using Cryptomator. This means that Google LLC does not have access to the contents of files or their filenames.
Your data protection rights

In addition, where our lawful basis for processing your data is your consent, you have a right to withdraw this consent at any time.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
